The Gain programme has been designed to equip disabled people and individuals from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups with the skills and knowledge to serve as board members of London-based arts, heritage or sports organisations. (section 37(a) of the Race Relations Act applies). The programme offers successful participants with the opportunity to attend a selection of training courses, ongoing support and networking opportunities.

Since 2007, 78 participants received Corporate Governance training and engaged in numerous networking opportunities. Over 42 % of these participants are currently serving on the boards of sports and arts organisations in London. More appointments are in the process of being finalised.
